Firebird [II] (1949)

The information you have on your site regarding the original cast is identical to the information that appeared in the program notes of the tne NYC Ballet on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006. Unfortunately there is an error. Unless Patricia McBride was the the characvter portrayed in Rod Sterlings Twlight Zone episode "Queen of the Nile" it is highly doubtful that she appeared in the premier of this event since she was 7 years old at the time. I contacted the North Carolia Ballet which she helps to direct and was informed that there was a dancer Pat McBride who was with the NYC Ballet at that time. My guess is that some energetic editor thought that the original listing of Pat McBride was incorrect and changed it to a known personality. Please have a look and let me know.
